Pieces of Eight

- That image never fails to crack me up. Likewise, I am such an easily amused dork that this bit of geek humor had me giggling for a full five minutes the other day.
- I’ve only gained 7 pounds, and all of it is out front.
- For some reason I’ve recently developed an intolerance to orange juice. I’m also mildly allergic to melon, banana, avocado, and cilantro. It sucks, ‘cause those are all things that I used to really enjoy. Why can’t I be allergic to squash or mango?
- I’m moving at the end of the month, which is good, because this house is driving me insane.
- I am looking forward to meeting the baby. On the other hand, because of the impending move, we don’t have anything, and I mean anything, ready. There’s still plenty of time, but my sleeping brain is impatient. I shop in my dreams.
- I find misanthropy to be tremendously boring.
- I’m terribly pleased that the second season of Big Love has started. I’ve spent time in Utah, which just makes it that much more entertaining.
- I am really quite upset about the woman that died in the ER. Hospitals scare the hell out of me.

that is quite a hilarious book cover. i seem to remember it from my childhood. btw, i also find misanthropy quite boring. i have a post in my draft box from almost a year ago about that very topic.

don’t sweat not being completely ready. Babies straight from the hospital don’t need much. They honestly don’t care if the nursery’s not perfect.
